"The Economy Isn't Going To Be Fixed Overnight"

President Obama responded to today’s dismal jobs report by saying the economic challenges we face “are not going to be solved overnight.” Unemployment has remained above 8.5% for the past 28 months – nearly the entire span of the Obama Presidency – and yet President Obama and his party have not put forward a plan to grow the economy, spur job creation, or manage down the debt. Instead, they continue to impose more burdensome regulations and insist on raising taxes on working families and small businesses who we are counting on to create jobs.
