- Yesterday, Senator Majority Whip Dick Durbin made clear Democrats don’t have the votes to pass the President’s Bill through the Senate and it would requires a bipartisan approach.
- Yesterday, Vice President Biden declared President Obama is responsible for the state of the economy and that 2012 would be a referendum on President Obama’s handling of the economy. Today, Gallup released a survey showing the majority of Americans say the GOP is better equipped to deal with the jobs crisis facing the nation.
- President Obama saying America is getting “soft” draws comparisons to Carter’s “malaise.”
