The Disconnected White House/President

Posted by Brian Patrick on

All,

Today the White House claimed, "There is an urgent need to take action on the economy and jobs ... that is made all the more urgent by Congress’ refusal to act. The Republicans in Congress refusal to act.”

Perhaps the President has been too busy campaigning to notice that Congress is acting.

This week, House will consider four Financial Services bills that will make it easier for small businesses to raise capital, grow and begin hiring again. The President has expressed support for these types of solutions in the past. This is in addition to the 18 House-passed bipartisan jobs bills that are being blocked by Leader Reid.
