President Obama has suggested that the reduction in funds from the sequester jeopardizes everything from food safety and air traffic control to educating our kids and keeping criminals locked up.
In reality, the sequester leaves many agencies funded at the same level they were at less than five years ago.
If none of the bad things the Obama Administration is now threatening happened several years ago, why would they happen now?
