This past weekend, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) joined Congressman John Lewis and a bipartisan delegation on the Congressional Civil Rights Pilgrimage through Mississippi:
"It was a tremendous privilege to retrace the steps of heroes like Congressman John Lewis and those who were at the forefront of the struggle for civil rights and justice. This period in our country's history is one that we cannot allow to fade away because it has so many lessons for us as we go forward. Sharing this bipartisan experience with my colleagues and remembering these powerful moments in our past provides great inspiration to me as we look for ways we can continue to work together."
