“Yesterday, Senate Democrat Leader Harry Reid offered an unserious short-term Continuing Resolution that continues spending at current levels. This so called ‘olive branch’ locks in the status quo spending levels that increased 24% over the last two years and fails to cut a single dime from current spending levels. Leader Reid, if the status quo is your plan, what tax increases will you propose to pay for it?”
