RICHMOND, VA – Congressman Eric Cantor (VA-07) issued the following statement on the passing of House of Delegates Clerk Bruce Jamerson:
"Bruce was a longtime friend and a loyal, devoted servant of the Commonwealth. His unlimited knowledge of our state government, and his constant willingness to lend a helping hand will be long remembered but never replaced. Along with so many others, I had the privilege of working with him for many years when I was a member of the House of Delegates. My thoughts and prayers are with the Jamerson family and all those who knew and worked with Bruce, as we remember his remarkable life."
