WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Majority Leader Eric Cantor released the below statement following President Obama's announcement of administrative changes to ObamaCare:
"President Obama needs to admit that ObamaCare cannot be fixed. Pointing fingers and claiming ignorance is not leadership. For four years, the President told the American people they could keep the plans they liked and costs would go down, and even he now acknowledges that was simply not true.
"Unilateral administrative actions will not create certainty for the American people. Further, the President’s approach will not remove the legal impediments so that insurance policies that were available in 2013, but are barred under ObamaCare, can legally be available for purchase in 2014.
"Tomorrow, the House will vote on the Keep Your Health Plan Act which aims to help folks keep the plan they currently like and can afford. But, the only way to stop Obamcare-related cancellation notices from being sent this year or in the future is to fully repeal ObamaCare. "
