WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) today released the following statement on the latest unemployment report:
"President Obama refuses to take responsibility for just about anything, including an economy that has failed to live up to his promises for five years. While there was some encouraging news in today’s jobs report, we are once again reminded that the President’s policies have failed to produce the economy he promised.
"Under ObamaCare, if you like your job, you may not be able to keep it. Independent analysis has documented over 350 employers across the country, including more than 100 school districts, where employee hours have been cut as a result of ObamaCare. Other businesses are reporting that they are not growing to avoid ObamaCare penalties. It is bad enough that the President’s policies have caused millions to lose their health insurance, we shouldn’t let it also rob them of their paycheck."
