WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) today released the following statement on the Continuing Resolution:

"Since ObamaCare was enacted, President Obama and fellow Democrats have unfairly carved out special exemptions and delays for big businesses, the politically connected and members of Congress. It's time working middle class Americans get the same deal that President Obama and fellow Democrats have given themselves and powerful special interest groups. There should be no special treatment for the well-connected under ObamaCare. Delaying the individual mandate and withdrawing special exemptions for Congress is the fair thing to do, and I encourage Senate Democrats to keep the government open, rather than close it in order to protect themselves and their friends."
